Welcome to this year’s Feature Home & Garden Suite, built by Bonneville Homes and styled by design duo Maria Perketa & Christine Da Costa, co-founders of Aspire Design Group. They shared insights to their design inspiration that incorporates 2024 trends, sustainable living, smart home features, and the debut of Urban Barn’s newest collection of accessories and furnishings.

The Montreal company Bonneville Homes presented at the Toronto Home Show 2024 not just a house, but a whole complex of two buildings. The first house is intended for primary housing, the second can be used both for adult children who want to live separately from their parents, but cannot yet purchase their own home, and for older people who want to remain independent from their adult children in retirement, and be close to them.

This type of home design is becoming increasingly popular in Canada, where a fairly large portion of the population consists of retired parents, as well as many young people who cannot yet afford their own home due to the ever-increasing prices in the real estate market.

As conceived by the architects, both houses are connected by a wooden deck with a miniature garden and a recreation area.

Two beautiful interior designers - Kristina Da Costa and Maria Perketa - did an excellent job and decorated the house in a luxury urban style. They preferred pastel colors, soothing and close to nature. At the same time, they did not forget about modern design trends, which are dominated by a variety of textures, tones, colors, materials and shapes, which does not interfere with creating a cozy and calm atmosphere in a residential building.

The featured Bonneville house was the most beautiful house built at the Toronto Home Show. Without a doubt, it will attract a lot of attention from visitors. This will be interesting both to those who came to the exhibition to find out what the real estate industry can offer today, and to those who follow trends in the world of interior fashion.
