- 41 new vehicles make their debuts on Media Preview Day at CIAS. -

Forty one vehicles made their Canadian debuts Thursday during Media Preview Day at the 2017 Canadian International AutoShow, including the first-ever global vehicle premiere in the show’s 44-year history.

The world’s leading automotive manufacturers launched 25 new production vehicles and 16 concepts – five more than 2016 β€” over the course of the media tour that took hundreds of digital, broadcast and print journalists through the 1,000 cars and 650,000 square feet of show space at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The AutoShow opens to the public for its 10-day run on Friday, Feb. 17TH at noon.

Highlights of the tour included Aston Martin pulling the wraps off the Aston Martin-Red Bull concept hypercar AM-RB 001 for its first appearance in North America β€” and global auto show debut.

Hyundai also gave the world a first look at its all-new subcompact 2018 Accent β€” the AutoShow’s first global premiere.
